McClennan was the best pound for pound at the time - he was a beast but an absolute cunt of a person, spawn of filth, lived as filth.
He was however, something else. As the fight progressed and he took Benns best he did not buckle, he fought on, and on until he could take no more, as did Benn

Remember being in a crowd of about 100 in our local village pub and only a handful of us thought Nigel could win it and that was heart over head!! Incredible fight.
Seriously think it would have gone down as probably the best if it hadn't been for McClellan's injuries. Benn was never the same again either, a bit like Eubank after his fight with Watson.

I remember recording that fight lending the vhs to a cousin
who claimed he lost it.
